A few words about this piece:

Looking at some of my older pieces I’ve become unpleasantly aware that I wouldn’t want to paint these paintings today and that there are several subjects I wouldn’t use anymore. Even though I have put thought into what I was about to paint there are pieces that now appear to me as having been painted thoughtlessly and which I find embarrassing.

My use of sometimes questionable, trite and sexist imagery pushed back my criticism of several topics I criticize to this day. Moreover I’ve reproduced obsolete clichés in a way that made the resulting works desirable for the wrong audience for the wrong reasons.

Whether I like it or not these pieces are part of me. They will remain online, however they will neither be sold nor put in future exhibitions.

Shit/Poop (2009)

Two over sized german mail stickers for Hatch's Oversized & Underpriced exhibition.

Couldn't find a better four letter "euphemism" for the c-word. Hints are welcome.

IMG_4156 @ Primary Flight, Miami

I've been invited to paint a mural for this year's Primary Flight in Miami. These are three photos of the finished piece, it is located on N Miami Ave and NW 31st Street in Miami.

Miami's been great and I am very pleased with the way the piece came out, thanks to the active support of K-Fresh, Black, Logan and BooksIIII.

BASE23 & PISA73 at Tumblinger Strasse, Munich

While in Munich for STROKE.01 BASE23 and me went to paint at one of Munich's older legal walls, Tumblinger Strasse. Strange to still see the faded remains of pieces that adorned those walls some 13 years ago.

Boxhagener Platz 2007 - #1/3

i know, i know. these look very similar to those a few posts earlier. but let me tell you this: they're very different. these are much more subtle and don't have the technical mistakes of the first edition. it's damn near impossible to take pictures that do the originals justice- especially on a screen.
